Description

*NEW CABIN*
Creek Sound Cabin, located in the Cohutta Wilderness, earns its name by continuously relaxing its guests with soothing natural sounds. This inviting landscape welcomes the active hiker, mountain biker and casual bird-watcher. The 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom cabin comfortably accommodates both families and friends, allowing for grilling, relaxing, and outdoor socializing amongst mountain views. After a day of exploring the many trails,  Lake Conasauga, streams and water features within Georgia's Mountain Bike Capital, guests can unwind around Creek Sound Cabin's pool table or its comfortable hot tub. While nature is this cabin's mainstay, guests remain close to their favorite modern conveniences with access to WiFi, DirectTV, Xbox 360, and a landline phone.

The last portion of road (about 3 miles) leading to this rental property is gravel covered and can be affected by weather. You will have to cross a small creek to enter the community. It would not be advisable to cross the creek in a low clearance car. A small portion of the road once you enter the gated community is rough and inclined. Four Wheel Drive/All Wheel Drive is required for this cabin.

*There is a two car limit at this property

Once you arrive at the cabin do not pull all the way forward in the drive way. Due to the gravel and the incline your vehicle may become stuck. Use the driveway to the left.

We absolutely loved everything about this property. Super charming with bike in/out options for Bear Creek and Pinhotis along with Windy Gap & Mountaintown. The remote location is a plus and although the cabin does have neighbors atop of the ridge nearby, they were super cool and friendly without intruding on our personal space. The fenced in yard was amazing for our dog who enjoyed exploring around the perimeter. The cabin included more amenities than we expected (plenty of paper towels, cooking oil, salt and pepper, etc) which is sometimes a bust when renting a wilderness cabin. The location was fun to access (luckily we have 4x4 so non issue after some unexpected snow) and its very bike friendly for advanced riders willing to put in big days on the gravel roads and singletrack. During our brief stay we knocked out 50 miles of mountain bike riding with 7500 of climbing to/from the cabin. Super cool to have a bike in/out option with a steep 150 hill climb to beers and the hot t...
