Description
Black Bear is a perfect family cabin that sleeps up to 6. Easily accesible down a paved roadway. Open the front door to the spacious living room with leather furnishings, stainless steel eat-in kitchen, and a wood burning stove.
The environment surrounding Black Bear is ideal for a nature lover. Located near Fort Mountain State Park, and numerous hiking trails, guest staying at Black Bear can make the most of their vacation enjoying what North Georgia has to offer. While at the cabin, guests can take advantage of the firepit, pool table, and large living space to both socialize or relax.

*This cabin is located on top of Fort Mountain, between Chatsworth and Ellijay. Located just 14 miles from downtown Ellijay.
We are applying a “Booking Buffer” to all our reservations. All reservations will have 24 hours between bookings to allow for proper cleaning and disinfection.

All of our cabin rentals are fully furnished and include a minimum of the following.
Basic stocked kitchen: Refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker (automatic drip), dishes, glassware, utensils, cutlery, pots, and pans.
Linens for each bed, 2-bath towels, 1-hand towel, 1-washcloth per person.
Central heat & air, washer/dryer and satellite TV
Basic internet and landline telephone
Propane grill- we supply the propane
We provide start-up Toilet Tissue (2 rolls per bathroom), 1 - roll paper towels, 5 - kitchen garbage bags, 1- small hand soap and shampoo for each bath, dishwasher detergent and dishwashing liquid. We do not supply laundry detergent.

We enjoyed staying at this cabin, nestled among trees. The beds were comfortable and linen clean. Everything -- e.g., kitchen, grill, fire-pit, and hot tub -- worked well. We took day trips to the places of interest such as Amicalola Falls, Carter's Lake, Ellijay, and Helen/Anna RubyFalls. Chohutta Overlook is about 2.8 miles from this cabin and Historic Ellijay is about 15 miles. We would stay here again! - Black Bear

Awesome cabin! We had 5 people and 2 dogs and there was plenty of room in the cabin for all of us. The place is 5 minutes down the road from Ft. Mountain State Park so there's lots of hiking/attractions nearby. We'll definitely be back!
